Présentation - Mon Léonberg bébé !
C'Bigger A La naissance,le chiot leonberg( photo plus bas) pèse environ 500 grammes et sa taille est celle d'un cochon d'Inde, mais dans les mois qui suivent vont le transformer en l'un des plus grand de l'espèce canine.
A 2 mois, il a multiplié son poids par 25 pour atteindre 12 kilos. Si sa taille définitive est atteinte à l'âge d'un an sa puissance et sa corpulence arriveront vers l'âge de 3 ans. Un mâle au maximum du standard peut dépasser 80 kilos.La nutrition et l'éducation sont des éléments indispensables pour que le jeune chiot devienne un vrai leonberg.Gant de velours doit devenir un réflexe quotidien face à quelques oublis.
N'oubliez pas de l'habituer au brossage dès les premiers mois. Un brossage plus régulier, lors des mues saisonnières permet de maintenir l'éclat de sa robe.
N'attendez pas de lui qu'il vous obéisse au premier ordre que vous lui donnerez. C'est un molosse, intelligent mais qui peut se buter, "faire la tête" si vous le brusquez. Montrez au chiot quelles sont les règles de vie en société.
